This week, Uber and AXA continue to show their joint commitment in raising awareness about the dangers of unsafe speeding and drivers’ distraction around the world. Also as part of Uber and AXA joint Road Safety Prevention Campaign in Egypt, Uber launches today its first Safety Driving Competition, powered by AXA, to reward the safest driver on their platform.

Uber partners with AXA for Rider Safety in Egypt

Uber Egypt has partnered with AXA, the number one global insurance brand, for the launch of a new safety program to cover riders with insurance while on the road.

As of October 2016 - thanks to its partnership with AXA Egypt - Uber now provides coverage to its riders against accidental death, permanent, total, and partial disabilities, and accidental medical expenses during any trip with Uber in Egypt.
